Studies show that our elders overwhelmingly prefer to remain to live their life in their own homes;  and if they ever need help – seniors want to receive the help in their own home. At Quality Care Services, the safety and well-being of our clients is our number one priority and home safety checks are needed to be done frequently in order to make sure our seniors are safe.

If you are wanting to know if a seniors home is safe, you can start by using  A Seniors Home Safety Checklist ,  that was developed by the Community and Home Injury Prevention Project for Seniors.

The following checklist will help you evaluate the safety of you or your loved ones home  to help make improvements for a safer and more comfortable place to live. Home safety recommendations for seniors range from general to being room-specific with a focus on reducing accidents that could occur in a senior’s home.
